The course has been watered again (with some selective watering this am).
Going remains GOOD
Feeling cooler (16-21c) & a little more overcast. #comeracing

Another warm day @Cartmelrace with temps expected around 26c. Watering to maintain GOOD ahead of racing tomorrow evening.
Given times on Mon we seem to be winning the battle with nature to ensure nice NH summer ground.

A glorious start this Mon morning @Cartmelrace where after a day of watering the going remains GOOD and we can hopefully hold onto that but we are getting increasingly warmer later (possibly 25c). There will be lots of cooling provisions for our equine athletes. Misting fans etc.

We are irrigating the entire track on Sunday with selective amounts to try & maintain GOOD ground.
10mm being applied to Wood side 15mm on Stable side.
Bends will get 7mm.

Latest from @Cartmelrace ahead of racing today (Sat 23rd May) and for decs for Monday 25th May is GOOD to SOFT, Good in pls 6.5 on @TurfTrax stick.
Likely to dry further over next few days but temps today around 16c before picking up again as of tomorrow.

The Going is now GOOD to SOFT, Good in pls & likely to dry further. Course looks well & we are ready. Will monitor temps and may selectively irrigate Sunday.

Following just over an 36mm of rain in the last 5 days the Going ahead of @Cartmelrace opening meeting on Sat 23rd, BH Mon 25th and Weds 27th May is: GOOD to SOFT. A lovely warmer drier forecast (after today) should see things dry back a bit to lovely ground for racing.
