Class of 2027 long snapper @JRGreaser made the trip to Eau Claire, WI to chase perfection! Jack is a highly rated long snapper out of Texas and wanted to see what he could be doing to elevate his performance and recruiting stock as he continues through the recruiting process. Jack came in throwing a good ball, BUT there’s always work to be done. We noticed that he was very stiff through his movement, which was causing him to lose out on a few important things: body control, ball speed, and consistency. When you lose out on those things, it doesn’t necessarily make you a bad snapper. It just causes you to work harder to produce a lesser result. Efficient movement matters. We really locked in on body control first before moving on to flow and sequencing. Once Jack started to understand how to move more efficiently and let the movement work together, the ball really started to jump off his hands while allowing him to stay more controlled through the finish. I think he did a great job! Since being back home, he’s already checked in and shown massive gains.
