Miles served as interim director after Thorr Bjorn left for Massachusetts. A source said she's signed a multi-year deal with the #Rams.

Per URI President Marc Parlange, Brittney Miles will serve as the interim athletic director at the school.
Miles has been with URI since 2013 and has been associate AD since 2019.

Have confirmed this. Huge news out of Kingston today, AD Thorr Bjorn is leaving URI for UMass.
In his 18 years, Thorr helped revitalize a football program that some folks wanted to cut. Hired Dan Hurley who brought Rhody to an NCAA Tournament. Won multiple conference championships across many sports. Brought huge upgrades to URI facilities and much more.
