✨ 3 ways to make 2023 your best year yet:
1. Learn to deeply connect (empathy, active listening, communication)
2. Work on your own growth (mind, body, soul)
3. Get honest about your values (the change you wish to create in the world)
After working in the coaching and self-development industry for nearly 10 years, I’ve noticed a pattern…
There are 3 kinds of people who make great coaches.
Which one are you?
(3) The doer.
These change-makers aren’t afraid to put themselves out there and get the hard work done. Although not always incredibly self-aware, their ambition and self-motivation takes them far in life.
If you see yourself in any of the above, then you could have the makings of a great life coach.
I don’t say this lightly.
The world needs more thinkers, feelers, and doers.
It’s the only way we’re going to create real, purposeful change.
4. Dedicate yourself to service.
Get out in your community and start being of service in any way you can. This isn’t a job, this is who you are. A life of service is a life of creating GOOD and intentional change.
This is about taking your natural abilities and turning them into tangible skills while helping those around you succeed in the process.
Remember that small impact isn’t small. Every bit matters.
With gratitude,
Jay
The 5 steps of deciding to do anything new (and meaningful):
1. Decide to make a change.
2. Ignore the voices of doubt and GO FOR IT.
3. Get clear on your purpose.
4. Accept that it won't be perfect (ever).
5. Express gratitude for everything that happens on your journey.
People don’t make a difference because they’re perfect or know all the answers…
They make a difference because they're imperfect. Because they understand they don't know everything. Because they recognize the need in the world for healing, compassion, and service.
They go out of their way for others because they know what it feels like to not have anyone.
They offer guidance because they know what it means to feel lost.
They always speak their authentic truth because they remember what it feels like to not know themselves.
Those who make the greatest impact are not the most powerful or well-liked. They’re the ones who have overcome their own challenges, who are full of lessons and love to share, and are always willing to be students of life.
