JSW Foundation and M. S. Swaminathan Research Foundation have partnered to establish the JSW Chair for Women in Agriculture within MSSRF.
This collaboration, formalised by Mrs. Sangita Jindal, Chairperson of JSW Foundation, and Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, Chairperson, MSSRF, focuses on women in farming, who are often under-recognised contributors to India’s rural economy. Through this initiative, JSW Foundation and MSSRF aim to recognise their contributions, strengthen their agency, and create pathways for sustainable livelihoods and resilience.
JSW Foundation thanks MSSRF for partnering with us on this important journey towards empowering women in agriculture and enabling inclusive rural development.
