🏀The Knicks are WORLD CHAMPS!🏀 Congratulations to the New York Knicks especially those with Jersey ties. St. Joe's-Metuchen's Karl Anthony Towns (we're sorry JSZ wasn't born yet during his high school days!) and assistant coach Rick Brunson are getting rings. Brunson coached the Camden Panthers from 2019-2022. Coach Brunson also got to be a proud Dad as his son Jalen will forever be a New York legend! @YouGotTheHigh

Alvarez was the Ironmen's leading receiver with 38 catches for 680 yards and 6 touchdown catches. 🏆Mendham GLAX Wins First State Title Since 2010 Over Manasquan!🏆 No. 12 Mendham girls lacrosse are Group 2 state champions! The Minutemen defeated Manasquan 10-3 in the state final on Saturday to take home the crown for the first time since 2010. Freshman Samantha Mele had a career day in her first state final with four goals on the afternoon! Notre Dame commit Shea Shoulberg and Amelia Eichman each followed with two. No. 12 Mendham girls lacrosse won their first state title in 16 years on Saturday, defeating Manasquan 10-3 in the Group 2 final. Freshman Samantha Mele was the high scorer, finishing her stellar debut season with four goals in the biggest game of her career so far. Delbarton SS Sal Garcia suffered a serious injury in the Morris County championship. Garcia played through a torn labrum in the state playoffs going 6-12 with 9 runs scored in the Green Wave's state championship run. With surgery set for Monday, the University of Virginia commit closed out his high school career with a warrior effort. Summit has had plenty to celebrate this week as the Hilltoppers completed a run to their fourth-consecutive state title. While the championships have been the focus, head coach Jim Davidson became just the fourth boys lacrosse coach in state history to reach 500 career victories earlier in the week. In their third trip to the state final in four years, The Golden Eagles defeated Kingsway 14-0 in five innings on Friday to finally take home the gold. Sofia Cruz and Julia Fox each led the team with four RBIs, with the latter hitting a two-run home run in their six-run 2nd inning! Julia Fox hit a two-run HR and had 4 RBIs on the day, as did Sofia Cruz who hit a bases-loaded 3 RBI triple.
