Okay, I am now realising that @abcnews is only 1 of many online media outlets that DO NOT KNOW HOW PULL QUOTES WORK.
A pull quote is a DESIGN element (like an image, caption or embed). It ‘breaks up’ text and makes it more inviting to scan.
It can’t REPLACE ACTUAL TEXT.
