Went to Canada in 2007 with AVFC. Friendly people. Had great trip to Toronto Blue Jays baseball game with Gareth Barry & Co. Was also invited to play golf at Rattlesnake Point by Martin O'Neill. He enjoyed my tee shot down middle on 1st. Had a good rapport with MON. Happy days!

Popped over the border to Mexico on a trip to USA in 2004. Crikey, thought I was a man of the world but Tijuana was something else. We were back in San Diego by 11pm.

Work anniversary time and a major milestone reached! 10 years of being a freelancer after leaving my staff role! Happy to have made a success of it - daunting venturing into the unknown but it's been a real adventure. Who knows what the next decade has in store!

On this date, 26 May, in 1982 Villa won the European Cup. Wow, 44 years ago! One of the best things about what has been an incredible way of making a living was the time I spent working with most of that squad over many years. A real privilege! 🎤⚽️
