The center of America is a Christian chapel. That may be geographically true, but #Jeep reinforced the exclusionary claim that equates Christianity with the Constitution. Yes, “the soil we stand on is common ground,” but religious “freedom is not just for the fortunate few.”

Calling out "Islamic terrorism" is as immoral as it is wrong. It is much more important to address white nationalist terrorism, the domestic threat to American, than to smear a sacred community.
