1/ An uplifting #holiday story: @ashleymaree20, a family medicine resident on my MICU team designed a unique “recovery milestone checklist” for one of our sickest #COVID19 patients. Enthusiastically filled by the staff, it not only ⬆️recovery, but ⬇️#burnout in these trying times

Saw a inpt consult for #TAVR. Elderly, low EF, CHF, frail. I spent 30 min with her and daughter - mostly listening. In the end decided on hospice. They were relieved. They just felt bad saying "No" to the doctors' recs. Sometimes we need to listen more - talk less.
