Whitman Hanson baseball (12-7) beat New Bedford 6-3 in senior day. Shea Cote got the win going 5.2 innings giving up 1 run and striking out 6. The offense was led by captain Jacob Getchell. Getchell was 2-3 with 2 RBIs. Tyler Pruitt and Austin Breheny each has RBI hits in the win.  Check out our Facebook for the senior night pictures

Whitman Hanson (8-2) beat Silver Lake 4-3 after manufacturing the game winning run for a walk off win. Preston George worked a walk to start the inning and then stole second. He advanced to third on a perfect bunt base hit by Jason Nye. George scored on a Silver Lake error off the bat of Caine Allen. Jacob Getchell was excellent on the mound, giving up just 5 hits in 7 innings while striking out 6.  The key hit of the game came from Tyler Pruitt who gave the Panthers the 3-1 lead on single that scored 2. Jason Nye had two bunt hits and a stolen base.  Pruitt also had a tremendous game behind the plate.

Whitman Hanson (3-0) beat Hanover 9-1 on Thursday. The Panthers scored on 8 hits including a pair each from Caine Allen, Tyler Pruitt, and Ryan Baker. Jacob Getchell threw 6 scoreless innings allowing just 1 hit and striking out 8.

Whitman Hanson baseball (1-0) defeated Bridgewater Raynham in a non league matchup 5-2 Tuesday afternoon. Tommy Crowley got the win going 6 innings giving up just two runs while striking out 8. The offense was lead by two hits from sophomore Caine Allen who had a key two out RBI double in the 6th inning to seal the victory for the Panthers.
