Dear Trinity Community,
With steadfast hope, we write to share that Aidan Heartfield โ26, a Trinity marketing major, and Kellyanne Lytal, the young daughter of Trinity football offensive coordinator Wade Lytal, remain among those missing after the devastating flooding along the Guadalupe River.
Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones as search and rescue efforts continue. We will do all we can to support them during this incredibly difficult time.
We also recognize that other students, faculty, and staff have been directly affected by this disaster. Our Student Affairs team has been reaching out to students from impacted areas, and we are extending support to affected employees as well.
We invite all members of the Trinity family to visit a vigil space in the Parker Chapel foyer during any time this week. A member of the Chapel | Spiritual Life team will be there at 11 a.m. daily.
To anyone in our community who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or in need of comfort: You are not alone. Support is available, and we encourage you to reach out.
