Been playing uni again finally. Gonna do the online comp thing when I have time, aim for Danisen and Wed (moving houses through the next month).
I won't be here as much, but scheduled to do Quickdraw Brawl local in July otherwise (gotta make sure my power fix worked).

I may not always know where I fit in the FGC or uni community anymore... But I will never not stop trying to improve the local gaming experience or trying to build my own.

Not starting it sooner in life vs not being established in the ways I desired when I took competing seriously.
Drive is still there, but at 34, I'm more focused on building a better future for wife, myself and soon-to-be kids. I'm glad I've been involved with the scene.

If you haven't played it yet, enjoy Sekiro style combat and metroidvanias, I highly advise Nine Sols.
Decent storyline, but the combat gameplay gets surprisingly deep later in the game. 8.5/10

In particular, I will tell you Jaca (the AWT uni 2 boss) is just someone living their life and playing the game.
"Top player privelage" is the myth you want it to be. Be the player you want.

The majority of “top players” are not good people. I don’t need to name names, you’re probably already aware of who those players are.

Beat RE9 yesterday.
6.5/10, multiple endings makes it interesting, but takes away immediately from quicksand option afterwards leading to secondary ending.
Gameply feels solid still, but replay is lacking with how they established bonuses and Leon upgrades. 7 at best.
