Tolkien famously stated that when he was in Ireland he felt there was an evil emanating from the bogs and the hills. I felt a similar way when I was in Britain last year, only the evil seemed to be in the air, like an eerie cloud of oppressive fog hanging over the land. Truly a grim place.

- "User-to-user" apps where people create, share and interact with content (e.g. TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, X, Facebook) will be banned for under-16s
- WhatsApp, Signal and YouTube Kids will be exempt
- Under-16s will also be banned from livestreaming, messaging strangers on gaming apps like Discord and using disappearing messages

It's a rightoid myth that the decline of internet atheism was due to the fedora tipper/I am euphoric meme. In reality it was another consequence of the woke era, which brought back a certain respect for religion (namely for the sake of Islam and paganism, but Christianity too).

A huge amount of the weird and sudden turn to anti-Hyde sentiment is largely just because of factionalism and it’s incredibly tedious to pretend otherwise. People are hating on him primarily because he did a video with Fuentes. Some people just say that outright but most people are lying about the reason. And I’ve watched groupchats turn in real time from “yeah I don’t think Sam Hyde is as funny as he used to be, his stuff isn’t really my cup of tea,” to “Sam Hyde is a fucking loser, I’ve always hated that guy, fat annoying retard. Super pretentious know-it-all. Scumbag. I heard he fucked a 17-year-old girl once, he’s a sexpest, basically a pedophile” and everything else you can imagine, just inventing new reasons to hate him rather than admitting the real reason, in the span of maybe a month, but more realistically about 2 weeks.
