Plenty council housing, free dentistry, nationalised energy companies and decent prices, if only Labour would bring that bit of the 70s back.

English is full of these people propping up the corners of bars in remote pubs. I went to a remote pub in Sussex recently. The owner (or claimed he was) was the spit of mr Martin. He didn't shy away from espousing his political views on hearing my Scottish accent.

Back to the time when my dad in a boiler suit job at the power station and my mum in the stockroom at Woolworths had a council house with a garden, a car & 3 kids they could feed without food banks or second jobs. And we went on holiday.

Polite notice - if you're too stupid to understand the controversy over the #Filton4 sentencing, please don't reply to me.

I’m reported a bunch of accounts using the N word to X a few days ago, including accounts with the N word as part of their account name. All of my complaints came back rejected. X is actively promoting racism, it is an absolute cesspit theguardian.com/technology/2…

Brighton: And this is the tunnel the Nazis were stuck in… Big mobilisations against the far right today. But we need to build a mass movement to stop the kind of events we’ve seen in Southampton & Belfast. Together we can stop the far right.

It's pretty damned obvious that it's not possible for a defendant to mount any form of adequate legal defence against offences they are not charged with. Please RT this until this injustice is corrected. Thank you.

809 Athletes murdered by the Apartheid regime since October 7th. 288 sports facilities partially or totally destroyed. Either the match goes or the leadership of the FAI goes. Preferably both.

Did you know that many people working in supermarkets such as Tesco and Asda still qualify for Universal Credit because their wages aren’t high enough to cover the cost of living? That’s not a welfare problem. That’s a low-pay economy. Taxpayers end up subsidising low wages while working people are told to work harder. Britain doesn’t have a benefits culture problem. It has a wage problem.

Neil Jackson, a Northern Ireland national in Belfast, was convicted of 45 offences against three children aged between 5 and 13. The charges ranged from rape of a child under 13 to common assault and other serious sexual offences. He was jailed for 20 years. Where’s the outrage? and when’s the protest?

To all the triggered Americans about the booing of the American flag at the World Cup - it wasn’t just Canadians in the stands. There were people from across the globe in the stands. I was there. And here’s the thing, you voted a president who shits on all his allies - TWICE. You reap what you sow. Cope.

Our country is anti-fascist. There are many many more of us than you. And your hatred will not win. #NoPasaran
From Brighton to Belfast, Glasgow and beyond, today was a reminder that the vast majority of people in this country reject hatred. One tragedy does not define a community. One criminal does not define a race. And extremists do not define Britain. Thousands came together to say: not in our name, not in our cities, not in our country. The silent majority spoke today and it chose decency over division. 🇬🇧 #Brighton #Belfast #Glasgow

Apartheid South Africa and Nazi Germany needed compliant judges to provide a legal veneer to their darkest crimes. Judge Johnson joins their wretched company. He overturned a jury's conviction of four anti-genocide activists for criminal damage and sentenced them as terrorists instead. As one their barristers pointed out, the four defendants were initially arrested by police on suspicion of involvement in an act of terrorism. But the prosecution decided not to charge them with terrorism offences because it knew no jury would ever convict them based on the evidence. Instead the Crown held two trials: a sham one for the jury, and the real one conducted in secret by the judge. That is not justice. It is a show trial worthy of the worst tyrannical regimes.
Here’s injustice Jeremy Johnson handing down the sentences at today’s disgusting stitched up Palestine Action trial. Any faith I ever had in the fairness of the British justice system is completely is dead.

Meksika’daki açılış maçını dev ekrandan izleyen Devlet Başkanı Claudia Sheinbaum, neden stada gitmediğini anlattı: “Estadio Azteca'da bir bilet 120.000 peso! Bu parayı kim ödeyebilir? Bana verilen 001 numaralı bileti, futbolu seven ama gücü yetmeyen Veracruzlu genç bir kadına hediye ettik. Meksika halkını ondan daha iyi kim temsil edebilir?“
