WAKE, #4 in the Call of the Rift, is out now and available wherever you get your books! I’m so proud of this book and excited to share it with everyone🥰
ALT Photo of a paperback book. The book title is The Call of the Rift: Wake. The cover is an illustration of a young woman sinking upside-down through the ocean, wearing a glowing golden ring on her finger. The book itself is surrounded by large blue flowers and green leaves to match the cover's colour palette.

This declaration amounts to the largest cultural boycott of Israeli institutions in history.

With @TheBiLibrary sharing her Goodreads list for 2025 bi releases the success of the 2024 edition, I thought it would be a good time to introduce the Goodreads masterlist for 2025 queer books.

Scholastic has sent a letter apologizing, reversing the program, and redoubling efforts to combat book banning legislation. Thank you to all who signed and shared the statement which helped instigate forward momentum for Scholastic's decision. 👏
Happy cover reveal to @NikkyMLee!
I’m thrilled to be helping reveal the cover for Nikky’s new science-fantasy novella, Once We Flew. Isn’t it gorgeous? 😍 The book is ‘dystopian turned hopepunk’ with a tech/magic blend, sand sailing, disability rep, and more.
#OnceWeFlew
ALT A book cover shown on an iPad. The cover has a landscape with purple crystals, several moons, and a sand-sailing craft. Its title is Once We Flew, and the author is Nikky Lee.
The book is laid on a starry background. Around it are tealights, ribbon, dried flowers, and ornate trinkets, all in pink, purple, white, and cream tones. The objects are scattered about to feel like a cluttered desk.
Rescue is still generations away—if it comes at all.
But Marsa is a survivor.
And an outcast.
Infected with the Chrysalis—a disease that grants its carriers uncanny abilities—she keeps her distance from her dwindling community.
Until an old friend’s dying wish sends her and a young boy across Savene’s inhospitable sands in search of something Marsa had thought she’d long forgotten.
Hope.”
We're Working On It is probably one of my saddest cartoon prints. Yet people and churches have it hanging where people can see. It exposes the cruelty of non-suffering people making suffering people wait for what the non-suffering people already enjoy and take for granted. I drew it in response to denominations and churches taking years to decide the fate of their brothers and sisters. They want to appear thoughtful and diplomatic when in fact that’s all it is… appearances.
