Today in K2 we celebrated Pongal! We had a (pretend) bonfire with a mini Pongal Paanai and tasted some baby bananas (bananas are used during Pongal festivities as they symbolize prosperity). Happy Pongal! @OscarPetersonP2

In K2 we celebrated Lohri! We gathered around a (pretend) bonfire, and throw pompoms in while we said our wishes for the New Year (at Lohri, popcorn and peanuts are thrown into the bonfire to shed the old and welcome the new) Happy Lohri! @OscarPetersonP2
