Conor McGregor is 37 years of age. The last time we saw him fight it was 2021 where he suffered a catastrophic injury at UFC 264 in the Poirier trilogy. He has not won a fight since 2020. Being one foot in and one foot out of the fight game is normally a recipe for a disaster. That said, I have this feeling that Conor is going to starch Holloway and put him away inside 2 rounds. Max has been getting buzzed in all of his recent fights. Yes, he’s been fighting the best guys in the world. But once that durability starts to crack, problems ensue. Just how great is Jon Jones? The fact that he did this to Ciryl Gane is still mind blowing to me. Everyone else struggles with Gane big time. Jon had no issues whatsoever.

I think Diego Lopes would currently be the Featherweight champion right now if Volkanovski was not in the division. Diego has the Charles Oliveira like game. I’m very curious to see how Ilia Topuria bounces back… Gaethje put on a great performance, broke him down, & got it done. But acting like Ilia is some scrub now because he lost makes absolutely ZERO sense. That also in a way discredits Justin’s win so don’t do that. It’s the fight game and wild shit happens. Ciryl Gane is a very special talent! How he moves as a heavyweight with such crisp technique is incredible. That was a fantastic performance. Just picked at him before setting up some huge shots around the guard. Mixing in the takedown attempts to keep Alex on his toes was very smart as well. From what we’ve seen from Gane, I think he probably stops Tom Aspinall. Alex Pereira dared to be great by going for triple champ status. He will be back! #UFCFreedom250

Even though it feels like Max Holloway should win since he’s been active in the game and fighting the best of the best… It feels like Conor McGregor is going to come back after this long layoff and pull off the huge upset. Sean O’Malley is EASILY one of the best strikers in the game. His speed & precision is next level! Excellent patience as he picked his shots to put away a very good fighter in Zahabi. I don’t know how many people actually appreciate how impressive Josh Hokit is as not only a fighter, but what he was able to do as an athlete prior to MMA. Being a dual sport athlete at Fresno State playing Football & also wrestling at a D1 school is sensational. You have to flat out be a different breed to do something like that.
