I spent nearly half of my 20s in a hospital bed. My lung function is below 40% and gets lower each day. And I have the most wonderful life I could ever imagine because of the relationships and love in my life.
I AM SO HAPPY AND BLESSED.

Somehow my little sunflower bakery made it to the final round of the best donut bracket in New Hampshire. We beat out a chain with 16 locations in the semis—but this one looks like we might not quite get there!

Thank you everyone, the prayers worked. Phillip’s eye has already healed 95%. He will not need to have his eye removed and there is no infection present that would put him at risk of being euthanized.
Despite suffering a full corneal laceration the vet said that being young and in good health helped him recover in his own. He is expected to make a full recovery with just minor effects in his vision.
He is incredibly lucky and it would be wrong for me not to acknowledge God when I asked for prayers. Thank you, Lord.
Sorry my face looks weird I couldn’t stop crying 😅

Update: he is very tired but in very good spirits, nothing has gotten worse I’m very optimistic for his appointment tomorrow morning. He seems happy, playful, not in pain, and his eye doesn’t seem to be losing fluid.

My dog, Phillip has a greater than 50% of losing his left eye. He may even need to be euthanized. Please say a prayer all I can do is hope now. Last night he was scratched in the eye by a cat and suffered a full corneal laceration.
I didn’t have the $7000 in cash to perform the emergency surgery to save his eye so I must treat it with antibiotics and eye drops until his appointment on Monday where they will tell me if it has a chance to heal or if it will inevitably collapse due to fluid loss and need to be removed.
We lost our cat out of nowhere in December and even though the bakery is doing incredibly well, it’s taken all of my energy and I feel like I have nothing left. All our profit has been reinvested in better equipment and expansion and I really hate myself for that right now.
I’ve accepted he may need to lose his eye but there is also a possibility he will need to be euthanized and I can’t accept that. Please God, let him make it. He’s my best friend and I don’t want a life without him.

In a poll with a sample size of 10,000 people (who are subscribed to Nintendo life so definitely buy video games) people who are physical only are less than 10% of consumers. Even less than those who are ONLY digital!
