🚨Gaza just minutes ago: Israel struck Gaza city, reportedly killing and wounding several people. You can hear the painful screams in the background. Those of men, women, and children. They were supposed to celebrate Eid tomorrow. Israel just bombed them.

The number of people who were killed in Israel’s terrorist strike in Gaza City has risen to three. More than 20 others were wounded. This the eve of the Eid and people both broke their fast today and were shopping for the next day. As you can see in the video, one of the victims was a woman passing by in the street. An honor so big I have to use my full government name. I am extremely proud to announce I am the new Navajo Nation Poet Laureate. Shinalí Luci Tapahonso and Shadí Laura Tohe did so much for Diné literature and poetry, I'm honored to follow in their footsteps.

I hope we know that this is the climate crisis we were warned about. It’s here. It’s been here.

There are only a handful of novels written by Diné authors but there are endless stories. I’m happy to share one with you, soon.

BREAKING: ARIZONA SUPERIOR COURT RULES SELECT LOCATIONS ON NAVAJO WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL 9 P.M Arizona Superior Court Judge Michael Latham granted a temporary restraining order to allow polling locations to remain open for an additional two (2) hours at the following Chapter House locations on the Navajo Nation - Lukachukai, Lupton, Rock Point, Cottonwood, St. Michaels, Fort Defiance, Wheatfields, Dennehotso, and Chinle. This ruling comes after the Navajo Nation filed a complaint in the Superior Court of the State of Arizona against Apache County, seeking an emergency extension of polling hours by two hours due to technical difficulties impacting voting on the Navajo Reservation. The court ordered that these locations remain open for an additional two hours, however, only voters who are registered within these locations or precincts can vote beyond the 7 p.m. voting deadline. The Navajo Nation stated that polls at these locations either did not open at 6 a.m. or were having technical issues with voting technology.
