House #10. Today marked a milestone for our Geometry in Construction program as House #10, built by ETHS students, was moved to its permanent site in Evanston. The course blends traditional geometry lessons with hands-on construction, giving students the chance to learn math while building a real home. Each house is sold as affordable housing in partnership with the @CityofEvanston and Community Partners for Affordable Housing. Our STEAM Design Thinking & Innovation students wrapped up their capstone projects with a dynamic showcase! Over the past few months, they partnered with Evanston-based businesses and nonprofits to design thoughtful, client-focused solutions that addressed real needs. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math—a hands-on, interdisciplinary approach that encourages students to solve real-world problems with both creativity and technical skill.
