So, I’m not a fan of Twitter becoming “X,” but this is what I hear in my head every time a notice rings in.

My 12 year old asked, “Since we tweet on Twitter, will we X-communicate on X?” The boy’s brilliant.

So I signed up for Threads (JBernier.Author) and it’s pretty cool. But I need to find more fellow writers on there. #WritingCommunity

So, a whole re-write later, from a different POV, and then several additional edits, my short story was finally ready. I submitted it to the contest that inspired it. Whether it’s selected or not, I like it and it feels good to put it out there. 🤞🏼#WritingCommunity

I wrote a short story for a specific call. My critique reader pointed out some issues that I knew existed but didn’t want to admit. I took the advice to heart and re-wrote the story. It is so much stronger now! #WritingCommunity

Hi all. I’m listening to Lord of The Rings Bk1 on Audible. I’m astonished at the geographic and language details. Do fantasy writers sketch out their geography, languages, people, etc. before writing? #writing #WritingCommunity

I finished my first novel! It feels good, so good. Time to take a few days before stating the editing process. Meanwhile, I have another thriller brewing in my head that’s begging to be written. #amwriting #thrillers #WritingCommunity

I am my biggest obstacle to writing. I overthink and question as I write. “Would he really do that?” “What would happen if that happens?” “Then what?” Then I stop writing to think through all angles. Anyone else? #amwriting #thrillers #WritingCommunity

I’m finishing up my first novel and absolutely love my characters, even the ones I kill off. I plan to write short stories developing them. How about you, do you write short stories in addition to novels? #WritingCommunity #thriller #amwriting

One day I did not feel like #writing, my wife looked at me and said, “How can you just leave your characters stranded?” That resonated with me. #WritingCommunity #amwriting #keepwriting

How often do you think of your characters? #writing #writingcommunity Me, I think about them a lot during the day. They won’t leave me alone.

Some quick tips for #amquerying #WritingCommunity - Why might you be getting nothing but form rejections? So your work is solid and you've edited, had great feedback, etc - but just seem to get form rejections! These are some things I've seen:
