I'm a fan of the character of princess Sally Acorn. Am I wrong for finding the character more interesting when they did something unique and original with her, rather than the default ragtag leader of the resistance living in a tree town and love interest from the main stories?

Okay continuing where I left off..
Basically, all five of the playable characters the stages play similarly, kind of like how they did Sonic advance. The difference is being Luis and Tails can fly, Amy has her hammer, Sonic is slightly faster, knuckles can smash through barriers

The news crew plays in hub stages. Each has a different method of solving puzzles; rotor can turn gears and repair things, Antoine can prepare dishes for NPCs to solve side quests Sally can investigate and talk to people, each one has different abilities for side quests
