Let's talk strategy 👀✍️ 1/2 🎬 12th Man & Max Captain 🍟 Playing your strategy right gives you the edge in fantasy games. Once you nail a strategy that suits you and your style, you build around that with transfers. Some strategies are better than others, will explain a few now. 12th Man Chip 🍟 Best used in the group stage as your premium assets will be up against lesser opponents = potentially more points. This chip in Round 1 would most likely be used on a German forward or Erling Haaland vs Iraq. The benefits for going with Haaland 12th Man means more flexibility with premiums. You can have a mid range forward and instead go with Yamal or Olise in the midfield area. In my case, I believe the 12th Man is best activated in Round 2. The choice of fixtures is far superior. Going Haaland in your draft in Round 1 allows you the choice of captaincy, of which I believe he's the best in Round 1. Not only that, but France, Spain, and Brazil assets all have amazing fixtures. Olise, Vini, Raphinha, Dembele, all great choices for 12th man. Max Captain Chip 🍟 Round 2 vs FINAL Round 2 fixtures are amazing without a doubt and have so many routes to points with your premiums and differentials. You can have Mbappe, Olise, Raphinha, and Yamal in your draft without the worry of getting captaincy wrong. The chip does all the work. In the final, however, the pool of players to have in your team is extremely smaller, and most active managers will have near the same players. So, gaining that edge with captaincy is difficult.
