So right! I used to have a job, with a good salary where I felt valued. I gave that up for my husband who makes me feel valued however #Carers Allowance is an insult to what I do now especially with the effect on my mental health. TY for highlighting @kazzyannie1 ๐ #CarersWeek
I donโt need self-care, I need to be earning the national UK minimum wage. My job is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for which I get paid ยฃ67.25. That equates to 40 pence an hour. I used to work full time.
