Off campus fans keep shitting on Conrad really pissing me off because this dude is a fucking character that’s supposed to make us feel things and think and have empathy for and cry over and maybe get angry at because he makes mistakes like holy shit.

Belly doesn’t “choose” Conrad over Jeremiah. It’s not like it’s one or the other; she has options. The Jeremiah ship has sailed. That’s over. In time, Belly lets her guard down allowing herself to act on her love for Conrad. The path is clear, they are in love, they are infinite.

OK well, but TSITP is groundbreaking in the sense that we haven’t really ever seen a Conrad and these themes of loss and grief in a YA drama (if so, rare) Off Campus, though enjoyable, has not but one original thought (don’t mean to compare but they stared it).
