I can’t wrap this in sentiment, it’s just diabolical loss. It’s been 16 years today since Lois died. I miss her rage and her wit and her magnificent personality. Oh my god she was funny, she made me laugh, we made each other laugh. Irreplaceable.

My wonderful dad would have been 88 today. He did not get so old that I worried about him and for this I am grateful but oh my god I miss him every day. Oh Derek. You were AMAZING as you would say. #shoutylove

I used to send my dad quite banal pictures of wherever I was walking and he was impressed by London and would reply AMAZING! WONDERFUL! To whatever mundane sight I sent even if it was a random bin. I miss him. Please reply in upper case in dad fashion. THANK YOU.
