Lovely weekend, catching up with my mum and aunt with my daughter for a massive lunch today. Yesterday a long dog walk and coffee with my bestie and on Friday, lunch and cocktails with a fab friend. 😊

We comment in this article on how carers being forced into paying grossly excessive fines or face going to court after unknowingly breaching complicated rules for claiming #CarersAllowance.
The benefit is unfit for purpose and needs a complete overhaul.

I have now worked in the NHS for 25 yrs. so I have more than paid back for the amazing care, my daughter and I received in 1996, More importantly I have helped and supported many patients, their families & friends, wonderful colleagues and staff which is a privilege and honour.
