Extremely pleased and relieved that this Labour Gov is banning social media for under-16s.
As a mum of a pre-teen, itโs the thing that keeps me up at night. I know many of my constituents feel the same. Thatโs why I called for a ban, and I am delighted weโre implementing one.

Tools for blocking social media on a childโs device already exist, and government intervention was not necessary to alleviate Ellieโs nighttime stress.
