This month, the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force will conduct “Resolute Dragon 26 (RD26),” a joint exercise with the @USMC in the Kyushu and Okinawa regions, to enhance interoperability for island defense.

本訓練では、水陸両用作戦や対艦戦闘訓練等を通じて、自衛隊の領域横断作戦に係る統合運用能力の維持・向上を図るとともに、米国、フィリピン及び参加各国とのパートナーシップを一層強化することができました。

EA-18G Growlers assigned to the “Black Ravens” of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 135 and a UP-3D Orion of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force @JMSDF_PAO conduct bi-lateral exercises in the Sea of Japan.
VAQ-135 is assigned to Commander, Task Force 70, and is forward-deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet. @US7thFleet, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, routinely operates with allies and partners to preserve a free and open Indo-Pacific.
