The meeting entailed the value of mutual knowledge and new forms of partnership at a time when Japan is exploring new global trade and investment opportunities, while Latin America and the Caribbean continue to pursue greater trade liberalization, regional integration, and deeper insertion into the global economy.
Participants highlighted the region's strategic advantages for Japanese investors, including its abundant natural resources, growing markets, skilled and competitive workforce, improving investment climate, expanding trade networks, and commitment to sustainable and inclusive development.
