One impact of the #georgesantos controversy: actual Jewish People of Color will face extra scrutiny and identity probing when running for office or other positions. There are already emails from Jewish journalists floating around saying that they need to probe POC who run more.

There are a lot of Jews scared right now as antisemitism is being normalized by celebrities, but I want to call special attention to Black Jews at this time, who are caught in such an uncomfortable space, making an already complicated identity that much more challenging.

Most of the posts I’ve seen use the phrase “Black and Jewish Communities” but mean Black OR Jewish. That’s an erasure and is a tool of White Supremacy. You can’t use any part of a system of oppression to defend against another part of that system! It’s not a physical system #2
