Here’s what I have to say about Monken’s old comments… it’s EXACTLY what you’d want him to say if they loved him and wanted to bid on him.
Not even kidding. If they legit had no interest, he should be feigning interest to try to drive up the price for another QB-needy team.

FWIW Monken’s comments about Sorsby were before the injunction. The nature of the supplemental draft with bids make it so you don’t want other teams to know you intend to place a bid.

Browns GM Andrew Berry had a more neutral answer when asked about Sorsby: "No different than we do every year. We’ll do the work on all the prospects and then we’ll make the appropriate decision for the organization.”
Berry then told @923TheFan, in part, on Friday: "There's two questions I ask because we're all human ... Is this a bad person or did they make a bad decision ... what are they doing after the fact to correct the behavior. ... I think, probably, within society so to speak, I think we could all stand to use a little bit more grace."

Brendan Sorsby’s attorneys plan to withdraw their lawsuit Tuesday, per source. That means he will officially be ineligible under the NCAA’s ruling, clearing the way for him to enter the NFL supplemental draft.

Coach Monken is correct. We saw a lot of it in the Packers and Lions games.
His route running and ability to sink his hips in and out of breaks is something that will be on more of a display this season. Again, he is NOT just a deep threat. Very excited for this WR core.
