Out of soft-ban jail and back to climbing in GBL as usual.
That being said, I’m likely taking a huge step back from this game going forward. I can’t in good faith continue putting time into a game run by a vengeful dev team that punishes players for trying to help improve it.🫡

This isn’t a retirement post. I’ll still be around since I enjoy interacting with the people I’ve met through this community. I’ll still hit Legend every season. But I’ll be playing fewer battles and spending much less time on this game than ever before. Prob fewer streams too.

I have received confirmation that my account strike was indeed due to making a video about the volatility exploit and using it during the interlude season and the strike against my account will stand.
Very disappointed with the decision here.

If anything, let my situation serve as a warning to other content creators to avoid showcasing gamebreaking glitches/exploits.
I was informed that this will be standard going forward, even if the intentions behind showcasing it is for the purpose of fixing said glitches.

I streamed my legend push live and spread awareness about GBL’s broken system that someone reported way back in S2
It’s been going on for years and I bet I’m the first one to get a warning

For reference, this was the support ticket I submitted to @PokemonGoApp over 3 months ago concerning the volatility issue and the response I got.
So in the 3 months since then they’ve decided the best course of action is to ignore the problem and warn my account? 🫠

I really like the idea of Championship Points from GBL – in theory. But as long as people can willfully manipulate their MMR's volatility, GBL leaderboards do not accurately reflect player achievement.
A major GBL overhaul is even more needed than the planned PvP refactor.
I get 49 points for a 5-0, meanwhile the other person gets 86 points after 5 battles (probably a 4-1 with the multiplier), how am I supposed to compete with this @PokemonGoApp @NianticHelp ?
Anyway, team reveal as it was still a fun process to climb in OGL

Still solid run though! Mandibuzz has been a sneaky good pick in this meta, especially with the increase of Aegislash in the back.
