Officially became Dr. Jason Eaton at the end of June, but yesterday I finally got to walk across the stage.
I didnโt do this for my masterโs, so Iโm glad I got to experience it this time. It was great having Cyndi, the kids, my parents, and my in laws there.

10 books finished this month. Part of my goal this year is to read one NF each month. Last month was The No Complaining Rule- excellent- looking for NF recommendations for this month.

Some days or even weeks can be hard leading a school. But moments like Friday, when we come together every six weeks to celebrate our growth and accomplishments remind me exactly why this work matters.

Rutherford County Schools officially opened the 146,000-square-foot Poplar Hill Elementary School today with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The districtโs 52nd school features 37 classrooms and modern learning spaces to serve the growing community.
Home of the Coyotes and led by Principal Dr. Jason Eaton, the school will welcome approximately 900 students when the 2025โ26 school year begins in just a few days.
