It’s well established human history that countries are temporary, but cities are forever.

Kenyon Martin GOES IN on Becky Hammon for her Jalen Brunson comment: Kenyon Martin: First and foremost why do we pay attention to anything Becky Hammon has to say let's start there who cares what Becky Hammon has to say. Let her stick on that side of basketball. I’m deadass like why would he pay attention to anything she has to say? Skip Bayless: She was Gregg Popovich first assistant coach Kenyon Martin: I don't care... don't get me started on that there's plenty of other people that could've been sitting on that seat

Lebron lost in the finals then proceeded to call everyone else sad and broke LMFAOOOO get these larpers out my sport man
"He's only 22" is not a valid excuse for the way Victor handled himself throughout the finals. Bad sportsmanship, dirty plays, childish comments to interviewers, an arrogant attitude, the list goes on. If he ends up winning some chips, people won't forget this. You didn't see this problem early on with the other greats like Lebron, MJ, and now Brunson.

I wanted to tweet this in the first half of the game, but I chose not to. Izzy did not play this game looking to win. She went out there intent on proving a point. Giving up layups because she refused to rotate off Angel so she could grab her or throw her body into her. She put her beef before her team. On top of committing a dirty foul, she should be answering to her teammates for leaving them hanging. Problem is, most of them are going to tell her she was right. That’s how losers are built.

His answers in French are just so much more mature than when he speaks in English which tells me that this “cockiness” that people talk about is just a 2nd language issue
Victor Wembanyama (in French) is asked what he is looking to improve on over the summer: 🇫🇷: Victor, after these Finals, what do you want to improve the most this summer? On the court or off the court, what area of improvement have you identified for yourself before next season? 👽: I'm going to work even harder, obviously, to be even more durable and, above all, to keep a fresh mind and maintain control of the game at all times. That's what really stands out about Jalen Brunson, for example. There are too many moments—and it doesn't come from bad intentions—but there are too many moments where I'm passive, where I don't have the control over the game that I'd like to have, and it ends up costing us. #GoSpursGo #PorVida

Wemby's dark academia bad boy gimmick this year was completely insufferable and he needs to permanently retire it and just be normal he isn't charismatic enough to be a character

In a vacuum, just assessing individual talent, Harden is better. But if you have a team with serious championship aspirations and you had to pick between one of the two, you’re going Brunson easily. And that right there is the stigma that Harden is never gonna be able to shake
Jalen Brunson isn’t even a top 5 player in the league RIGHT NOW but you want me to believe he’s better than prime James harden😭 he’s great but yall are tripping

It’s being done intentionally sometimes too. Like how we’re seeing all these accounts run w/that “Everyone knows we’re going to do it” clickbait quote from today where if you watch the clip it’s very clear the “everyone” he was referencing was everyone in that Spurs locker room

He is correct. The amount of people who are ascribing characteristics to him, based on the way he speaks his second language is kind of annoying.
