Early in my time with PSD, I helped sponsor a DonorsChoose project for a PSD classroom. As I am clearing out my office as I move on to the next chapter, I found some of the letters the students sent to me. It's going to be difficult to leave such meaningful work behind.

Unfortunately that also means that I'm leaving the Pawtucket School Department. I have enjoyed an incredible 8 years in public service both in payroll and more recently in finance. I will miss all the friends made along the way.

... educators are the bulwark of any school and district, but it takes a lot of people in many disciplines to run a school district. Including professionals in other areas (Finance, HR, Technology, etc.), our para-professionals and our clerical staff. Everyone deserves respect!
