Grateful to friends, neighbors and folks from across the community who came out to support me earlier this week. We had a great time enjoying wings and a Sox game at High Motor in Pawtucket.

In 2020, NY state passed the “protect our courts act,” banning ICE arrests in our state courts unless ordered by judicial warrant. This DOJ sued NY state, alleging the law was unconstitutional, and lost. Today, the @RIHouseofReps voted to make “protect our courts” law in RI too

Glad to visit with the Woonsocket Democrats this evening to talk about what's at stake in this election. I especially appreciated the question about data centers and the Attorney General's role in navigating these kinds of strains on our resources and communities. @WoonsocketDems

BREAKING: House Judiciary Committee sends to the floor three critical bills protecting immigrants and limiting ICE in Rhode Island. I'm proud to have cosponsored and pushed for these bills. We're passing the 364 bill, the Protect Our Courts Act, and the Rhode Island Federal Constitution Defense Act. #RhodeIsland #immigration #LegislativeUpdate

I enjoyed speaking with the North Providence Democrats about why I'm the most qualified candidate for Attorney General. Appreciated the committee's questions, especially around protecting our seniors from increasingly sophisticated scams -- and I'm grateful for the kind words from legislative colleagues in the room.

Congratulations Rebecca! She will be a great magistrate.
.@USDC_RI names new magistrate judge. Rebecca Aitchison now works as an assistant federal defender and was a trial lawyer for the R.I. Public Defender’s Office. She will replace Patricia Sullivan. bostonglobe.com/2026/05/26/m… via @BostonGlobe

I was deeply moved by the Boots on the Ground memorial, coordinated by @OSDRI_Vets at Fort Adams this weekend. Many of the fallen went into the service straight out of high school, and they never got to come home again. Today we honor those who sacrificed their lives in service of this country. May their memory be a blessing.

Really enjoyed sitting down with Steve Ahlquist this week to talk about my campaign for Attorney General. We dove deep into criminal justice, government transparency, consumer protection, public safety, and defending Rhode Island against federal overreach. Read it here: steveahlquist.substack.com/p…

Here's what the next Attorney General needs to know: Political courage takes time and experience to develop. That's why it's not enough for the Attorney General just to be a great lawyer, and it's why I'm the best candidate for the job.

Happy to address my hometown democratic committee recently at the beautiful Barrington Public Library. I really appreciate the thoughtful questions and considerations that the members shared. So grateful for the partnership we've built over the last decade that I've represented District 67 and look forward to continuing it.

Great to be with the East Providence Dems recently to talk about my vision for serving RI as AG. Many folks in that room are strong allies of the issues I've worked on during my time in the legislature: a testament to the coalition-building it takes to achieve meaningful change.

I enjoyed addressing the Pawtucket Democrats this evening in their statewide candidate forum at the German-American Hall. It's a great exercise in democracy to gather so many candidates in the same space for voters to be able to hear (and question) differing visions for the office & the future.

Recently had the opportunity to catch up with folks in Jamestown at a beautiful May garden party, complete with a delicious spread and a very good dog. Thanks to the generous hosts for bringing the community together.
