Politics is a serious business & UK now has serious leadership. Today’s challenges require a deliberative style to mobilise the solidarity that is necessary to solve our problems. This PM gets that. Blair let conviction get the better of his judgment. I don’t think Starmer will.

For international observers I think this explains well what’s about to happen in UK. Even after Brexit Tories seen as party of sound economics until Truss, Tories sound govt, law & order until Johnson; Tories patriotism & armed forces until Sunak (D Day).
