I’m a Christian, husband and dad that does his best to follow Jesus and live as He did, but often falls short. That’s what I do. I play golf, and I know things.

The perfect quote to plainly show that Catholicism is a damn cult. Many Catholics (obviously not all, but many) would be willing to follow the devil himself directly into the fires of hell. “Even if the Pope were the devil incarnate, we should not set our face against him.” Are you freaking kidding me!? 😬 This is genuinely evil. FOLLOW JESUS. NOT THE POPE. OBEY GOD’S WORD. NOT MAN’S WORD.

My latest article on the prophecy of Jeremiah. It’s a warning to the modern church and false teaching, idolatry and neglecting God’s word. open.substack.com/pub/jasonw…

This is the near future. “For behold, I begin to work disaster at the city that is called by my name, and shall you go unpunished? You shall not go unpunished, for I am summoning a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth, declares the Lord of hosts.’” Jeremiah 25:29 ESV

“Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord.” Jeremiah 23:24 ESV

What do you think this means? “The anger of the Lord will not turn back until he has executed and accomplished the intents of his heart. In the latter days you will understand it clearly.” Jeremiah 23:20 ESV

So many discussions with Catholics, who think themselves high and mighty. This verse jumped out at me as God’s response to them. “Haughty eyes and a proud heart, the lamp of the wicked, are sin.” Proverbs 21:4 ESV

As I study through Jeremiah, I can’t help but see the modern Catholic Church. Am I wrong? open.substack.com/pub/jasonw…

If Proverbs says the righteous produce life and the wicked produce sin, what does that say about a profession of faith that produces no transformation? “The wage of the righteous leads to life, the gain of the wicked to sin.” Proverbs 10:16 ESV

Sola Scriptura “On the lips of him who has understanding, wisdom is found, but a rod is for the back of him who lacks sense.” Proverbs 10:13 ESV

“For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4 ESV

Catholics: read John 6:35–63 in light of Jeremiah 15:16. “Your words were found, and I ate them…” Jesus says: “Whoever believes…” (v35) and “The words I have spoken are spirit and life.” (v63) So what did He mean when he said “eat my flesh”?

“for wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; discretion will watch over you, understanding will guard you, delivering you from the way of evil, from men of perverted speech,” Proverbs 2:10-12 ESV

Question for all Christians. Psalm 146 says earthly rulers perish, but “The Lord will reign forever, your God, O Zion.” When do you believe this prophecy is fulfilled? The Bible clearly shows that the Messiah will reign from Zion forever. What’s your interpretation?

David cried out for God’s Spirit to teach him—not a ritual. Spiritual life has always come through faith in God and His Word, not through external ceremony. (Psalm 143:10; Matthew 4:4)

My sheep hear my voice’ (John 10:27). And where do we hear that voice today? In the God-breathed Scriptures that testify of Christ. His sheep follow His Word—not the traditions of men.
“Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” (John 8:47)

Worship belongs to God alone. Christ alone is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). Jesus said, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve’ (Matthew 4:10).
“The papacy is an arrogant idolatry. A giant system of sacrament worship, Mary worship, saint worship … relic worship, image worship, and pope worship.” -John MacArthur
