We need to reshape law enforcement into what our communities deserve and demand. The rise of warrior policing has eroded the last bit of trust our communities had in police. We need a guardian model of policing in America. We are not at war with our neighbors.

One big difference I’ve seen between municipal policing and college policing is the access to effective heath/mental health care on campus that others don’t have. If our society had true access to real mental health care...oh what a wonderful world it would be.
