H100 Pricing ๐Ÿš€ - Jevon's Paradox in Action! H100 prices exploded after the introduction of V3, as GPUs are starting to be monetized at much higher rates. More intelligence for cheaper means more demand. This is a meaningful shift to sluggish H100 spot pricing previously $nvda

Some Raw thoughts on @OpenAI Operator - 0. Can Operator pass a captcha test? 1. The take control option is amazing, additionally. Specifically I love that we can go back and see what steps the Agent took to reach the current state. But why does it need us to tell it what changes we made ? It should be able to figure this out on its own. 2. The fact that this does not need any API access and interacts with the websites visually is great. This is a baby step towards AGI.. and eventually physical AI 3. How comfortable will people be when entering their card information on a Remote browser? This can be a big barrier in adoption 4. While the operator aims to mimic a human behaviour, does it raise flags when accessing websites at a quicker than human pace (which it should be able to in a few years) 5. Can Operator learn and adapt to user preferences over time, like my favourite restaurant, shopping stores etc? 6. Does Operator recognize regional differences? For instance, would it seamlessly navigate a website with a different languages outside English? 7. Could it detect potential scams or phishing websites before proceeding, or entering sensitive information, especially on less familiar domains? 8. How does Operator decide when to ask for user confirmation and when to act autonomously? What happens if it accidentally remembers the previously entered card information used the last time and enters it without confirmation?

Can solar power solve Nigeria's energy crisis? Fuel generators have powered Nigeria for decades. They're noisy, dirty, and bad for the environment. But they also provide power to millions of people in a country with an unreliable grid. The removal of Nigeria's long-standing fuel subsidy in 2023 caused the price of fuel to quadruple, leaving Nigerian consumers searching for options. And many are going solar. So while economic considerations have largely driven Nigeria's transition to solar power, it has positive climate implications too. But why is the grid so broken in the first place? How can it be fixed? And is decentralized solar energy an adequate solution to solve Nigeria's energy crisis? In todayโ€™s episode of The Flip, weโ€™re exploring Nigeria's newfound energy transition. Featuring: Bimbola Adisa - Founder & CEO, @BPSAfrica @thomas_rotimi - Co-founder & CEO, @sunfi_hq @ChidAndie - Founder & CEO, @earthbondco This episode was produced as part of our series on climate action in Africa, The Greenprint, in partnership with @TheCatalystFund, @Delta40_Studio & Africa Climate Ventures. Easy prediction for 2025 is that the gains in AI model capability will continue to grow much faster than (a) the vast majority of peopleโ€™s understanding of what AI can do & (b) organizationsโ€™ ability to absorb the pace of change. Social change is slower than technological change.
