High School Specialists❗️
(Advice to Help You Get Recruited)
1️⃣ Have a quality Hudl/tape
Include a concise tape of your season and show all phases of your game (FG, KO, Punt). We understand high school operations aren’t always perfect, but we want to see how you perform in real game situations and under pressure.
2️⃣ Track your stats
Have accurate season statistics readily available to share - FG%, touchback %, punt average, hang times, net average, etc. Be truthful, we have stopwatches.
3️⃣ Be authentic
Posting a 60 yard field goal is great, but also show consistent work from multiple hashes and distances. Include makes and misses. If every social media video is 8 for 8 but you go 4 for 8 at camp, you’re only hurting yourself.
4️⃣ Attend competitive kicking camps
Go compete at camps such as Kohl’s, Chris Sailer, Hammer Kicking Academy, Kornblue Kicking, etc. Show that you can compete against top specialists and earn rankings and exposure.
5️⃣ Attend college camps
For specialists, the summer before your senior year is often the most important recruiting period. Attend camps where coaches are actively communicating with you. Study depth charts, know whether a school already has a commitment in your class, and don’t get caught up in logos or divisions. Go where you have a legitimate opportunity to compete and play.
Make it easy for coaches to evaluate you.🐎⬆️
