I almost didn't post this.
Not because I was afraid, but because it hurts. It hurts, thinking about the countless lives lost to insecurity. The opportunities stolen by corruption. The young people forced to abandon dreams just to survive. It hurts because I love my country. Sometimes the people who love Nigeria the most are the ones most heartbroken by what it has become. I made this piece for the Nigeria we deserve. For the future we're fighting for. For the children we haven't met yet and the abducted children. It's not until we are all affected, let us Make Nigeria Great Again.
