They are fundamentally different activities and should be treated as such, one is updating the system, the other is the enablement of new functionality

After receiving a few messages I thought I should let it be known, I am not moving to the UK. I did, however, think that 'across the pond' could be used figuratively to say 'from the other side', as in from the private sector (rather than public).
