I wrote a brief piece to acknowledge everybody who's contributed over the years, in my best attempt to mourn what's been lost.

special ordered shoes for the vegas ALGS lan that are literally the fanciest shoes I have ever bought in my entire life and they arrived today π
not very esport vibe but i figured i should bring at least one outfit that wasn't either boring or logo merch lol
ngl when i said i want to spend money on esports i was thinking like, esports merch sold in women's sizes or a monthly sub to a tourney organizer to get fun behind the scenes content
not, uh, dynamic pricing to buy an org sticker
The sticker update with it's dynamic pricing is as predatory as it is with TicketMaster.
The ethical use of dynamic pricing is to reduce demand in order to preserve supply, not maximizing profits on an infinite supply. Fans are no longer determining the price amongst themselves within a marketplace.
For them to approach their NY lawsuit stating they're no different than any collectible/trading card system, they're sure doing everything they can to change the system being attacked.
I worry that; not dissimilar to how VALVE have altered the Compendium in DOTA 2, that their solution in Counterstrike is at odds with what fans would understand to be reasonable changes.
unironically i would rather pay cash money for a monthly subscription to get counterstrike streams than tune in for free on kick
i'm genuinely willing to pay for eports for long tern sustainability, and yet everything is either getting cut for budget reasons or a gambling advert
the schedules don't usually align for a clean 3/3 of all my esports on a single weekend, but what with the unofficial asian rmr for cs, crossfire west league, and the return of algs pro league, that was an absolutely packed weekend of viewing lol
The fact that SemperFi's odds of making the Major are being this affected by a weird FF in a completely different tourney is absurd.
Just bring back RMRs and let teams fight each other for the slots fairly.
Liftoff.
The Artemis II mission launched from @NASAKennedy at 6:35pm ET (2235 UTC), propelling four astronauts on a journey around the Moon.
Artemis II will pave the way for future Moon landings, as well as the next giant leap β astronauts on Mars.
to this day i still remember the first time i discovered the depths of the AFL/rugby region-based cultural divide

esports can be such a roller coaster of experience it's nice to get a chance to just vibe and enjoy watching some games.
We just had a role for an Associate Brand Manager open up over on the Apex Team for any LA locals!
I know there were a number of layoffs here recently in the industry, hoping this reaches one of the impacted. Share around!
