Just some morning thoughts. Attended practice Friday. Workout was conducted with a purpose, but players all seemed relaxed and were having fun. People ask me all the time about the secret to Georgia’s baseball success. To me, that’s it. Baseball is a kid’s game, you’re supposed to enjoy it. This group does. It’s as close a knit team as I’ve seen for UGA, a true band of brothers, if you will.
It’s one that truly believes it can be as good as it wants to be.
Tonight, at Charles Schwab Field, they will attempt to take a first step toward a national title.
Can tell you, too, this is the game everyone in the media here has been talking about - prime time, two huge brand names fighting for a spot in the CWS winner’s bracket. It should be quite the show.
