The best place to relax is near water.
After just 2 minutes of viewing water outdoors, blood pressure and heart rate drop. It's more calming to look at a lake, pool, or stream than trees or grass.
Beaches are popular for a reason. Wider bodies of water bring more tranquility.

RIP Flaco 🦉💔
Saddened to hear that Flaco died last night on the UWS. He lived 12 years in captivity, and 1 in freedom. I'm sure his last year was his best.
I took this photo in August under his favorite elm tree in the North Meadow.

For years, people streamed past his enclosure in the Central Park Zoo. Today, on the 8th anniversary of his first morning as a free bird, Flaco chose to roost where he could watch thousands of New Yorkers walk, run and bike right beneath him. ❤️🦉❤️#Flaco #CentralPark #birdcpp
