I’m not seeing enough people mourning the two deaths that happened in this week’s issue of Storm. It’s been a stellar series, but I am very much NOT okay with the two characters so died getting killed off so brutally and suddenly. Hoping Storm can undo it somehow! #xspoilers

Ummmmm, to whom it may concern (namely writers and publishers), not every telepath needs to be a telekinetic, and not every telekinetic needs to be a telepath. It’s annoying, sloppy, and repetitive that they keep making every psychic both. 🙄 #xspoilers

P.S. I like and respect Emma, so White Queen stans, please don’t come after me, LOL. I think the telepathy/diamond skin combo is cool and original enough as it is. She doesn’t need telekinetic icing on what’s always a terrific power set. #XSpoilers

Things that annoyed me about this week's #XMen comics... 1) The continued dumbing down of Havok in X-Factor. 2) Shark-Girl's need for an image inducer when she can turn to human form at will. 3) No confirmation of Rusty's status. 4) Instant sidelining of Angel. Boo. #XSpoilers

Today’s Mutant of the day is Samuel “Sam” Guthrie A.K.A Cannonball! Cannonball has the ability to generate thermo-chemical energy and release it from his skin. This energy is used as thrust to cause his body to be propelled through the air. He’s nigh invulnerable while blastin’!

The guy was dead for longer than he was alive. When he came back, he had TWO appearances prior to this one, and NO LINES in either of them. No reunion with Skids. No time with his old X-Terminators, X-Factor, or New Mutants buddies. No time to heal. To grow. #XSpoilers

Now, imagine enduring a fateful issue in 1995 where the character you'd been cheering on for a decade gets his life absorbed and is soon nothing more than a smoldering clump of ashes. This was pre-Krakoa. There was little chance of a return. #XSpoilers
