Brett Yormark: "It's been a challenging week for both our Conference and the college athletics landscape. The Big 12 looks forward to moving ahead as 16 strong. We wish Brendan Sorsby success in his future endeavors."
Today's Big 12 lawsuit exposes the hypocrisy at Texas Tech:
They are threatening to sue over bylaws they happily used to sanction Baylor during their assault scandal. They voted with everyone else.
Governance works great until you're facing the consequences, right?
I'm calling on the Big12 to do the right thing and suspend an athlete who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the field this season. Rules must apply to everyone.

Sorry Texas Tech fans.
Unfortunately, since a judge gave Sorsby an injunction we are all going to hell.

While the Texas Tech haters are still crying, I’m gonna be having a good time this evening watching Jerry Seinfeld.
At the same time, destroying the narrative that there’s nothing to do in Lubbock.
Haha dipshit. We’re already seeing that “west Texas tough” means talking big shit and sticking your chest out while you slowly decock your pistols and back out of the saloon while piss runs down your leg. Remember those Big 12 bylaws Tech agreed to? Yeah. Brush up on that.

Is there literally not another QB on the market or even the planet — a freshman, a walk-on, a transfer, an alien — that can guide Texas Tech into the CFP??
This is beyond embarrassing at this point.
They keep using the words "young man". The dude is 22. Most 22-year olds are out of college & working in the real world at this point.
And they talk about his addiction as if he was a decade-long alcoholic. Someone be an adult here.
Who does Arthur think he is?
He’s trying to keep our favorite message board out of the CFP and I don’t think we should stand for this.
We have to stop the madness somewhere!
Jeffrey Kessler, Brendan Sorsby’s attorney, has also sent a letter to the Big 12. Comes in the wake of Texas AG letter.
"A boycott of Texas Tech or of Mr. Sorsby would be a per se violation of antitrust laws and expose the Big 12 and each of its boycotting members to substantial liability. There is no defense to a per se unlawful boycott of this type, and Mr. Sorsby will hold the Big 12 and its members fully accountable for their actions."
